About this activity

Use bottle caps or coloured balls to get close to the goal. This fun game is great for boosting physical and decision-making skills.

Required material
  • Bottle caps or paper balls. Coloured pens.
  • You might need a ruler, if you decide to play the game a little bit differently.

Instructions

1

First you'll need to mark the caps or balls, using colours, symbols or even names and making sure the goal is different to all the others.

2

Place the goal on the floor and take it in turns to throw your cap or ball at it.

3

Whoever gets the closest wins! If you're a real ace at the game, you might even land on the goal!

How was this activity?

Too easy?

Make the game more challenging by measuring the distance between the goal and each cap or ball. Use other caps, a ruler or even just your hands.

Too hard?

If younger children are playing, make sure the goal isn't too far away. Older children can still play as well by being further away from the goal.
