About this activity

Are you good at throwing? Have a try with this ring toss game, a fun activity that helps develop hand-to-eye coordination. You can use items around the house to create this ring toss game – just be careful where you throw.

Required material
  • You will need a set of rings, as well as targets to throw the rings at.
  • The targets, or pins, can be bottles, towers made of LEGO® bricks, or even cups.

Instructions

Start by setting up the playing field. Space your pins out however you like.

Now stand back and take it in turns to toss the rings and see if you can get them onto a pin.

Keep trying and see how many rings you can get on target.

How was this activity?

Too easy?

Make the playing field bigger or make the rings smaller.

Too hard?

Reduce the size of the playing field and stand closer to the pins. Or you could make the rings bigger.
